SOME of the new range of cosmetics from Marks & Spencer
By Lucinda Hayton

Lucinda Hayton looks at the new Autograph range of cosmetics, available from M&S.

ENCASED in elegant gunmetal packaging, the key to the new designer collection of make-up at Marks and Spencer is all in the detail sleek mirrored compacts with that reassuringly expensive "click"; the fluffiest powder puff; lip and eye pencils that include a brush and smudger for precise application; dual usage eye shadows with wet/dry formula; and easy-to-use concealer with push button application.

In store, Autograph cosmetics are easily identified by the futuristic style display. Breaking new ground for M&S, the showcase of cosmetics provides us, the customer, with our own beauty playground where we can test make-up in an intimate, unhurried environment'.

For my work with a female model in Spain I chose Autograph: Tinted Moisturiser £12, Cheek colour wash £10, Lash Separating Mascara £10 and Colour rich Lipstick £9.

A fabulous range well worth a look, Autograph cosmetics can be found in larger Marks and Spencer stores.
